Lesson's

The Lessons that are in this section are developed ages K-12th grade, in line with my certification. Each lesson is rigorous and held to the highest standards of developmental stages for the appropriate age group. My lessons were made with the understanding, and guidance of the Lessons Depth of Knowledge 1- 4, as well as Blooms Taxonomy. The lessons also strictly adhere to the state and federal art educational standards.

Line & Value Tree Drawing

6th Grade Lesson:

This lesson is designed to help students improve their understanding of the use of line and help to develop the beginning understanding of how to use value for shading.

One Point Perspective

7th Grade Lesson:

This lesson is about creating depth in their drawings. One point perspective is the first step in learning to incorporate realism into their work, and building on the shading they learned in 6th grade.

Two Point Perspective

8th Grade Lesson:

Moving up to two point perspective for the next level of development for student drawing, the students are also learning how to more effectively direct shadows off of objects onto cast shadows.
